Actually, WE made a thing, as in Ben Nieves, Chris Horton, Brian Poole, Unlikely Legends Productions, Neil Campisano, Zack Proteau, Brett Vaughn Rechtfertig, supportive spouses, babysitters, and I, made a thing.  Tomorrow it is off to the pressing plant and you will hear a heck of a lot more from me once it's all shrink wrapped and in my hands.  Enjoy our promo thingy:


The Waiting Is The Hardest Part....

Finished tracking the new album 

We are in mixing phase!  I cannot wait to release this new 10 song original album titled "Take it With You" on October 1st!  The band sounded amazing- Neil Campisano on drums, Zack Proteau on bass, Brett Vonrechtfertig on guitar, Chet Chwalik on trumpet, Al Bent on trombone, Scott Brill-Lehn on back up vocals, and yours truly on vocals, keys, dobro, harmonica, and tamborine.  Chris Horton is engineering at The Recording Place in Rocklin CA.  

Mini Tour April 2018 Opening for The Robert Cray Band 

I am so excited to be opening for The Robert Cray Band at 3 gorgeous theater venues in April.  4/20 The Fox in Redwood City, 4/21 The Rio in Santa Cruz and 4/24 at The Crest in Sacramento.  More to come!

Just opened for Jon Cleary and The Absolute Monster Gentlemen 

Last night I had the pleasure of opening for one of my idols, grammy winning New Orleans force of nature Jon Cleary.  We played at the new Sofia Tsakopoulos Center for the Arts and I fell in love with that room.  Great sound and hospitality.  Jon's bassist Nell and drummer A.J. were very nice.  I was able to chat with Jon briefly on various topics, including about what a loss Allen Touissaint was as well as chat with his lovely tour manager and wife.  Great group of people and super grateful for the…
